Summer is drawing to and end . . .

and we are pleased to report that a lot has been happening here! We were fortunate enough to hold our 41st Summer Art Exhibition in the Scout Hall which was a great success with lots of visitors and lots of sales.

Christine McGregor won the Isbister trophy for her painting 'Tentsmuir' and Alison Whyte was highly commended for her screen print 'Tagine with Lemon'. Thanks went out to Avril Scott McKay who judged the artworks. 'Boathouse of Kingennie' by Bill Angus was voted the most popular artwork and congratulations go out to them all!

We have been busy behind the scenes planning our up and coming classes which start on 16th September and will run for 10 weeks until 19th November. The cost is £50 for the block.

Thursday Afternoon Class - 1.00pm -4.00pm

Thursday Evening Class - 6.30pm - 9.30pm

Lastly, we have been planning our winter exhibition which will run at the Braw Berry, Kingennie from Sunday 21st November until Sunday 5th December. More information will follow leading up to the event!

So there we have it! . . . Things at last are beginning to resume with some level of normality. Long may it continue!
