in Ali's Thursday class
We offer informal, sociable classes where members can work on whatever project they have in mind, whether an ongoing piece or starting something new. Our tutors, Ali and Ossie, offer guidance and feedback as needed, as well as demonstrations and guided exercises for those who'd like a little more direction.
There's always a break, good company, and a chance to see what everyone else is working on, in a warm, open-studio atmosphere welcoming of all media, abilities, ages, and stages.
Whether you're a seasoned artist, a curious beginner, or a student looking for extra tutoring, our classes might be just what you're looking for.
Autumn Classes 2026

Thursday Afternoon Classes: 1.30pm - 4.00pm, Tutor: Alison Whyte
Friday Afternoon Classes: 1.00pm - 3.30pm, Tutor: Ossie Paesano
The cost of a 10 week block is £90, but you're welcome to come along for the first week as a trial class before committing to the full 10 weeks.
Classes are available to all Broughty Ferry Art Society Members. Annual Membership is currently £25. Join here.
Classes meet in the Scout Hall in David Street, Broughty Ferry. Instruction/guidance is included in all our art classes.
